 ART PARTNERS LESSONS

After School Class for Teachers

The Art Partnership Program includes instruction by a highly qualified senior level visual arts teacher who holds a masters degree and has extensive art education and integration teaching experience. The contract includes materials, lesson plan, including template for class use; instruction time with teachers - hands on demonstration.  Art supplies in this program are an economic use of material for the school (no need to duplicate materials for each classroom). This program allows an art room to be set up each month for Teachers and Students.  The Art Class Room will have posters and artifacts that reflect the month’s Art Partnership Lesson.

WORKING TOGETHER FOR CHILDREN

We are happy to announce the continuation of the Art Partnership Program.  This is a program in which volunteers present exciting lessons to increase students’ knowledge of famous art masters and their artwork. Each month a new lesson is taught to Art Partner Volunteers, enabling them to teach a hands-on art lesson in the classroom.  The volunteer will then make arrangements with the classroom teacher for a convenient time for their presentation.

  • Increase the number of parent volunteers in your school
  • Provide a Visual Arts Curriculum using  core objectives
  • Art material that allow Classroom Teachers to meet  their goal
  • Lessons that provide a greater understanding of cultural diversity, geography, history and society
  • Extended core curriculum lessons for the classroom teacher

WHAT THIS PROGRAM WILL PROVIDE

Included in this program are lessons plans, teaching vocabulary posters, Fine Arts prints of Masters’ artwork and all necessary art materials for the lesson.  This is a wonderful workshop to increase parent involvement at your school. Interpreters will be present to complete a full experience for your parents.
